Forest
An innovative approach to productivity gamification.
What I like about it
Forest is available for both Android and iOS, allowing users to cultivate a virtual forest over time. The more you focus without opening distracting apps, the more your forest thrives. The gamification aspect is particularly engaging; you can purchase new plants with virtual coins earned by maintaining focus. The app also provides progress tracking over weeks, months, and even a year. It's completely free, with an optional one-time purchase to remove ads and get additional features.
What I don't like about it
I discovered Forest several years ago when it was priced at £0.99 on iPhone. Since then, the app has seen minimal updates. Although it functions well, an updated user interface would enhance its appeal. Additionally, as a foldable phone owner, support for such devices would be appreciated.
