What I like about it
Smartlook is easy to install, free to use for up to 3,000 sessions per month, and provides a wealth of valuable data about user behaviour on your website or app. It allows you to record heatmaps, showing where users click the most or how far they scroll on the pages. I’ve used it extensively in the past to optimise the landing pages we prepared for our clients. Compared to other alternatives, such as Hotjar, I find that Smartlook's free plan is much more generous.
What I don't like about it
As with many similar tools, smartphone compatibility is a bit of an issue for Smartlook, especially if you’re hoping to view session recordings from mobile users. Other than that, I have little to complain about.
